Presentation

Since 1999, Olatua is located on the site of the former perfumer « Chez Pierre » of the great era and has modernised this institution which was transformed into a restaurant in the eighties. The restaurant is part of one of the most ancient buildings of the boulevard Thiers.

By creating the Olatua, Olivier LATASTE and Ramuntxo BERRIA, two chefs trained in Biarritz and Paris, have managed to reconcile tradition and modernity by proposing an alternative to the « classics » of the region.

The cooking

At Olatua, only fresh products are being used by a team of highly experienced professionals and directed by the chef Oliver LATASTE.

Olatua's cuisine is a result of a meticulous selection of products and regional suppliers.

Olivier LATASTE's original recipes do not only offer products of the Atlantic Ocean but also meat with designation of origin and cooked according to the rules of art.

Finally, to end the meal, the desserts of our pastry cook. Exclusively created by us for you to enjoy. The use of cacao 74 % and the vanilla of Papua are conform to the standards of Olatua. Make your own opinion. You may want to think about to make a reservation for a table in advance.

At the head of a dynamic team, full of experience, Ramuntxo BERRIA will guide you in your choices and explain all the details about our recipes to you. The wines carefully selected at the winemakers' vineyards are offered to you at attractive prices. The cocktails are made up-to-the-go by following the precepts of the « classics » of the bar.

The dining hall with its tropical atmosphere and shimmering colours as well as the daily cheerful mood of our team will allow you to spend a pleasant moment around an original table with a variety of tasty wines.
